I was wrong, Colonial Forge ran away with the tournament. I thought it would be closer.
Anyway - There was some good wrestling this weekend, couple of upsets, some good/bad refereeing, some good/bad sportsmanship.
One incident I saw stood out: Two seniors wrestling for 5th/6th - a not really meaning anything match. Last match of thier high school careers. Both wrestled hard, close match - my guy lost. After the match my guy was sitting in the bleachers and his opponent came over and they chatted, congratulated each other on the match, their year, and wished each other good luck. Not good luck for their next match - Good luck for thier futures. This - in my mind - is what wrestling/sports is all about.
